Dr. Roger Morton Director
Dr. Roger Morton is an internationally recognized geologist
with over 40 years in mineral discovery and exploration.
Dr. Morton has served as the co-founder and vice president
of Golden Star Resources which was responsible for discovering
the Omai gold mine in Guyana, South America. He is currently a director of a number of Canadian mineral exploration companies, including Brazauro Resources Corp., Brazilian Diamonds Ltd., Sola Resource Corp., Tres-Or Resources Ltd. and True North Gems Inc. Dr. Morton's geological expertise includes exploration for mineral deposits in Europe, North and South America, Southeast Asia and Africa.
Dr. Morton is Professor Emeritus in economic geology at the
University of Alberta.
Dong Bi Director and Director of Exploration
Bi Dong has over 20 years experience in the mining industry
as a geologist and project manager. He has extensive experience
in mineral exploration and project assessment, especially
in China.
He began his career in the Fujian Bureau of Geology and Mineral
Resources in China as a geologist, and was subsequently a
visiting scientist/ research technician for the Alberta Geological
Survey. He was involved in new project assessment and exploration
for a number of Vancouver-based mining companies, including
CME Consulting, China Clipper Gold Mines Ltd. and Jinshan
Gold Mines Inc. (formerly as Pacific Minerals Inc.). He has
worked in Carlin Gold Corporation as the vice president -
corporate development where he oversaw the companys
gold exploration project in Yunnan province, China including
permit approval and setting up joint-venture operations. Mr.
Bi Dong holds a B.Sc (Geology) from Nanjing University, China
and an M.Sc. (Geology) from the University of Alberta.
Mr. Bi Dong will assist Neo Alliance in new project assessment
and executing the recommended exploration program.
Tom C.K. Tang Director and Director of Mining
Tom C.K. Tang, P. Eng. has spent more than 30 years in the
mining industry. He is a member of the Association of Professional
Engineers of Ontario, and a certified professional mining
engineer with experience, both in operations and consulting.
His experience covers a wide variety of minerals including
gold, silver, potash, base metals, uranium, tungsten, and
asbestos.
He began his career with the Tungsten Mining Corporation in
the Northwest Territories where he spent five years. He subsequently
moved on to work for Denison Mines and PCS Mining for a total
of eight years prior to joining the Kilborn Saskatoon office.
After five years with Kilborn Saskatchewan and three years
with Williams Operation Corporation in Ontario, Mr. Tang rejoined
Kilborn as mine engineer in the Vancouver office. He worked
as an independent consultant prior to joining Neo Alliance
as a Director of Mining. Mr. Tang received his Bachelor of
Science in Applied Science (Mining Engineering) from the Queens
University in Canada.
Mr. Tangs experience with Kilborn includes reserve determination
and large mine design to the feasibility stage. His expertise
in resource modelling, pit configuration, ventilation, material
handling, rock mechanics, mine planning, construction of underground
facilities, shaft sinking has been particularly beneficial
to the assignments he has undertaken.
Mr. Tang was welcomed to the Majiahe gold property as the
general manager of the project. He has supervised the operations
of the project since October 2004 and is the qualified persons
to pursuant to NI43-101 definition.
Don Caron Director
Don Caron, a resident of Edmonton, Alberta, is the President,
Director, and Partner of Western America Capital Inc. Western
America is a private equity fund that takes an active interest
in the management and growth of diversified companies. Mr.
Caron has extensive experience in operational management,
public company compliance, financing and reorganization and
is a director of several publicly listed companies on the
TSX Venture Exchange. He has successfully advised and participated
in several mergers and acquisitions. Prior to his involvement
with Western America Capital Inc., Mr. Caron articled with
an international chartered accounting firm in public practice.
David Tam Director and Secretary
David Tam is a partner in the law firm Parlee McLaws LLP,
Alberta, and has been a member of the Law Society of Alberta
since July 1990. His practices focus on securities and corporate
commercial transactions and he is a director and corporate
secretary of several publicly traded companies listed on the
TSX Venture Exchange. Mr. Tam received his Bachelor of Laws
and Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degrees from the University
of Alberta in Canada.
Liu Quan Qing Chief Geological Consultant
Mr. Liu Quan Qing has over 30 years experience in the Chinese
mining industry. He has held senior positions in various state-owned
enterprises including the China National Non-ferrous Metals
Industry Cooperative (CNNC), the Beijing Institute of Research
Geology, and the China Minerals and Metals Import and Export
Cooperative (MINMETALS).
Fan Qi Hao Chief Geological Consultant
Mr. Fan Qi Hao, a research geologist, is a member of the AUSIMM
and has over 30-years of mining experience both in China and
abroad. He previously worked in the Hunan division of the
Non-ferrous Group in China for over 20 years and was a committee
member of the fluid inclusions commission in the Chinese Society
of Mineralogy, Petrology and Geochemistry in 1978- 1987.
Wu Jia Long Chief Geological Consultant
Mr. Wu Jia Long, a field geologist, has over 30 years experience in the Chinese mining industry. He was part of the Huabei division of Non-ferrous Group in China, overseeing exploration work in provinces such as Hebei, Liaoning and Inner Mongolia. A seasoned geologist, he became the chief engineer of the Tianjin Huabei Geological Bureau, responsible for the the management, quality control, and execution of all the exploration programs within the bureau.
